NISSAN TERRANO:-

Mileage:- The Terrano gets the same 1.6-litre petrol and 1.5-litre engine options like the Renault Duster.

The consumers of India are mileage quotient people and the very first thing they want to settle down with before buying any car is the mileage. The Japanese automaker has taken care of this mindset and launched this compact SUV with peppy engine delivering good mileage figures. The petrol version returns ARAI certified mileage of 13kmpl while the diesel engine variant which consists of  two different power outputs returns fuel economy of 20.5kmpl (84bhp) and 19kmpl (108bhp) respectively . The mileage figures as per this compact SUV are worth considerable in country where fuel prices are sky rocketing.

Power of Nissan Terrano:- The power packed stylish compact SUV comes in both petrol and diesel variants. The petrol variant which is a sole variant in the category receives power from 1.6L engine with multi point fuel injection technology which churns out a healthy 102bhp at the rate of 5850rpm and torque throughput of 145Nm at 3750rpm . The same engine is coupled to five speed manual transmission gearbox. While on the other hand diesel powered Terrano produces two different power output figures in the variant line up. The 1.5L CRDi engine with dCi driving mechanics is considered to be powerful and calm. It produces 84bhp @3900rpm and 200Nm of peak torque at 2250rpm while the other power output it gives is 108bhp at 3900rpm and 248Nm of torque at 2250rpm respectively. It is mated to six-speed manual transmission gearbox.

Acceleration & Pick-Up:- The acceleration produced by the diesel version of the Terrano is good, that the good bit about this oil burner is the drivability.

With powerful diesel and petrol engine employed under the hood, Nissan Terrano takes no time to get abrupt on roads. The petrol variant which is a 1.6L MPFI supply system is more power hungry and takes the car to 100kms milestone in just 11 to 13 seconds of time attaining the top speed of around 165kmph. While on the other hand, the top-end diesel Terrano which is powered by 1.5L CRDi engine gets immediate on roads in just 12 seconds to reach 100kmph mark reaching the top speed of 175kmph. So, all the oil burners are lively in performance and especially on the highways and off-roads where consumer tastes the real drivability of this car.

Nissan Terrano Exteriors:- The badge engineering can be hardly seen at the first glance upon this car. Duster from which Terrano has taken inspiration has different body panels but resembles the roof part and the rear end design. The front façade especially the signature grille is reminiscent of Nissan Pathfinder, the international version of Terrano. This very front section is the most interesting part of this car as it appears to be a full-fledged SUV. It contains elegant grille section on which Nissan badge has taken the center position. The grille section is surrounded by thick chrome slats and accompanied by angular headlamps which are sleek in nature and swept back into the V-shaped bonnet that blends seamlessly into the grille and makes the car unquestionably a Nissan car. The fog lamps are nicely placed at both the lower ends of the body colored front bumpers and in between the air dam that expels the heat on the go. The side profile has flared wheel arches and has got the necessary bulges to flow through the body. The body colored door handles, ORVMs turn indicators and silver colored roof rails looks elegant from distant and are standard in all variants. The roof and the windows line looks identical to Duster. Top end Terrano variants also get a stylish looking pair of 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels which not only possess the needed flamboyance but also delivers stability on roads. Rear looks similar to that of Duster but have larger tail lamps that cuts their half way to the rear door and also contains chrome slat above the number plate. Rear windscreen gets defogger with wash and wipes functionality giving better visibility in overcast conditions. Top end variant also gets rear spoiler for enhancing athletic appeal. Nissan has certainly fashioned the exteriors of this car to appear visually attractive that can easily allure the young generations who have passion for style statement. Overall the car has all the virtues of the sibling Duster in terms of external appearance plus a little more that adds up to the flair.

Nissan Terrano Interior:- The interior styling of the Terrano is much different from that of the Duster, it has more premium feel as it gets a more stylish and better finish dashboard.

Nissan Terrano has fascinating interiors that can surprise anyone at a first glance. It seems that French ergonomics have been integrated into a Japanese brand. Though it differs from many aspects in terms of interiors fit and finish with brother Duster but overall the car has similar features like that of Duster. Nissan adopted dual color beige and black scheme and quality material for decorating the interior cabin. The seats on the top end variants have superior leather upholstery while on the front dashboard there is flip to open storage box at the top. There are rectangular AC vents and neat and clean piano black finishing at the central console. The central dashboard has a radiant instrument cluster that has all the technical details of the journey. The premium elements of the top end variants includes leather covered steering wheel, chrome addition on gear knob and front and rear armrest. The all-new Terrano has also several small storage sections for stuffing essentials like pocket behind front seats, map pockets, cup and beverages holders around the doors and in between front seats .

Nissan Terrano has been bestowed with powerful petrol and diesel engines that can perform splendidly in any driving conditions. Just crank the engine and we will recognize the real drivability and ride quality this car has to offer. The compact SUV house in 1.6L 4-cylinder petrol engine which has a displacement capacity of 1598cc producing 102bhp and 145Nm of torque mated to five-speed transmission gearbox. The multi-point fuel injection is integrated with the engine which is excellent in driving in urban conditions. The same engine generates two different outputs in different variants; one that is low powered produces 84bhp and 200Nm of torque while the other which is tweaked produces 108bhp and 248Nm of torque giving top-notch performance on off-roads. The diesel engine is coupled with six-speed manual transmission gearbox.
