It is the first time Sunny is offered anywhere in the world with a K9K Diesel engine. The same engine is coupled to five speed manual transmission gearbox. While on the other hand diesel powered Terrano produces two different power output figures in the variant line up. The 1.5L CRDi engine with dCi driving mechanics is considered to be powerful and calm. It produces 84bhp @3900rpm and 200Nm of peak torque at 2250rpm while the other power output it gives is 108bhp at 3900rpm and 248Nm of torque at 2250rpm respectively. CHEVROLET SS  OVERVIEWS:-.....

The SS is Chevrolet's long-awaited rear-wheel drive performance sedan. Built in Elizabeth, Australia, by General Motors' Holden division, it is essentially an Australia-only VF Commodore sporting a Bowtie emblem on the grille.
The SS rides on a modified version of the Zeta platform that also underpins the two-door Camaro. It stretches 195.6 inches long, 74.8 inches wide and 58.7 inches tall, making it roughly the same size as Cadillac's range-topping XTS.
To briskly move the SS' considerable mass, engineers dug around the Corvette parts bin and pulled out a LS3 6.2-liter V8 that makes 415 horsepower and 415 lb-ft. of torque. It sends power to the rear wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission with shift paddles mounted behind the steering wheel.
A 3.27 final gear ratio helps the SS sprint from zero to 60 mph in a scant five seconds. Ventilated disc brakes manufactured by Brembo help ensure that the sedan stops as well as it goes.
Equipped with electric power steering, the SS is first and foremost a driver's car. It has a near-perfect 50/50 weight distribution, and the hood and trunk lid are both made out of aluminum in order to lower the center of gravity.
Looking the part
The SS wears an aggressive look thanks to high-intensity discharge (HID) headlights, LED daytime running lights and staggered 19-inch alloy wheels. A bulging hood, sculpted body panels and a full body kit add a muscular touch and make the SS look fast even when it's not moving.
Out back, the SS is fitted with discreet trunk-mounted spoiler, black plastic trim on the bottom of the bumper and two chromed exhaust tips.
Life aboard
With ample room for up to five passengers, the SS' interior is better equipped than its performance-oriented drivetrain might suggest. Make no mistake: This is not a lightweight, no-frills race car.
Cleanly designed, the dashboard is finished with soft-touch materials, and two bucket seats with the SS logo stitched into the seat back come standard up front. Ice blue ambient lighting and two types of chrome trim add a premium touch to the appearance.
The instrument cluster consists of four analog gauges and 4.2-inch screen that provides navigation directions as well as vital information about what is going on under the hood.
The SS comes standard with Chevrolet's MyLink infotainment system. Controlled by an eight-inch dash-mounted color touch, MyLink offers access to smartphone-based apps like Pandora radio and Stitcher radio. The system can connect up to 10 Bluetooth devices and store as many as 1,000 contacts.
Dashboard knobs and buttons mounted on the three-spoke flat-bottomed steering wheel gives users alternate options for controlling MyLink, and there is also a voice recognition system for hands-free calls, destination entering, song selection and more. Its "natural language" capability can recognize a staggering number of phrases - effectively eliminating the need for clunky and cumbersome memorized commands.

Introduction:

We evolve to adapt and when you adapt, it means you are making an effort to stay ahead in the game. It seems that BMW has taken this philosophy and applied it to its executive sedan the 5 Series in the face of evolving competition. The 2014 model is not a new car but rather one that has been adapted to the demands of its customers and various markets that it is sold in.
Launched for the Indian market in October 2013, this is the sixth generation 5 Series globally and is the first time that the car is only available for the Indian market with diesel power. Its major changes are cosmetic along with the ZF eight-speed gearbox. Of course, this being a BMW, even the diesel only option has not dampened its penchant to take corners and provide you with a mind blowing driving experience.

Exterior:

The front view is the most eye catching aspect of the 5 Series or for that matter any BMW. The Kidney grille has now been pushed out and sits ahead of the rest of the facia while the head lamps are now full LED double ring units that the give a car a truly ‘I’m all about business look’ especially when seen at night. The headlights now have an auto high beam function and work as cornering lamps as well.
The 530d with the M Sport package gets the same front bumper as the M5 so it’s got significant sporty credentials. The rather busy looking lines on the standard bumper and fog lamp housing have been replaced by an exposed mesh air intake and aerodynamically modified square shaped units in the case of the latter. The lines on the bonnet have been retained and further add to the car’s butch and rather sharp front view.
A view of the side profile reveals that BMW has continued with pretty much the same design as before and this includes the creases as well as the softly flared wheel arches which lend a squat stance to the overall look of the car. There is a very subtle line that runs just under the door handle that divides the side profile into two parts.
The side angle brings out the luxury feel of the car thanks to the steeply raked windscreen, chrome inserts in the body coloured door handles and rear roof line that flows into the boot. There is a slight lean towards the front in the stance when carefully observed, thanks to the grille, which is further forward at the top than it is at the bottom. The 5 Series is offered with a sun roof which isn’t a panoramic one, plus the M Sport package ensures that the car will stand out thanks to the 18-inch double spoke alloy wheels and prominently visible disc brakes behind them.
If the side of the 2014 5 Series looks bare, the rear is a more busy yet premium place. The huge wrap -around LED tail lamps dominate the overall appearance and have been a defining trait of the Bavarian automaker’s sedan.
There is minimal chrome except for the badging yet the premium appeal of the 5 Series has not been lost. While the standard design includes exhausts on both sides, this model has to make do with a double barrel setup on the left side. Working in conjunction with the flared wheel arches, the rear bumper further adds to the squat stance of the 5 Series.
The 5 Series much like the rest of the BMW range has sleeper looks and seems to convey a ‘Secret assassin’ like appearance. Its four direct rivals each have distinct design characteristics that let them stand out. The Audi A6 3.0-litre diesel much like what is there underneath looks all technical and business like while the Volvo S80 Summum D5 looks rounded and rather plain. The BMW 5 Series on the other hand looks all sporty and purposeful but in a subtle way.
The winner in the looks competition, however, is the Jaguar XF-S which has the most cohesive package when it comes to blending sportiness with luxury. Missing from this equation is the Mercedes-Benz E-Class which will soon be launched in a variant called the E350 CDI which should have similar performance figures and with an AMG kit look decently sporty.

While we might not agree with the Ssangyong’sdescription, we will readily admit that the new model is much easier on the eyes than the Rexton II. Both new and old Rextonshave been caught testing in India for a while, also confirming that certain components from the older car will make it to the vehicle offered in India.The new third generation Rexton gets an all-new frontend with projector headlamps and daytime LED lights, chrome grille, new bumpers with integrated fog lamps and LED indicators. The Rexton W looks more proportionate with black treatment around the bottom and wider with fared wheel arches. The rear of the SUV looks unexciting, but it is functional. It will comfortably seat seven people – keeping it aligned with the Mahindra range! – and still have some space in the boot. Overall the Rexton feels premium, something that it will need to compete with the likes of the Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavour, Chevrolet Captiva, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, Hyundai Santa Fe and Renault Koleos. Mahindra has not confirmed the tech spec of the Rexton W, but the word is that it will be powered by a new 2.0-litre four-cylinder diesel engine developing 152bhp and 367Nm of torque. Ssangyong will be banking on fuel economy of the SUV that is around 14kpl with 2WD and the automatic transmission for marketing. There is also a 200bhp version of the same engine which might be introduced in India later. Just like all other Mahindra products, details will be kept under wraps till launch and we will be able to confirm variants only on 18 October. We will also get our hands on the car the same day, so stay tuned for the review of the Ssangyong Rexton. Mahindra will undercut the competition on price to get sales for the new Korean brand. The Rexton will be imported to India as CKD and will be assembled at Mahindra’s Chakan facility. It will also be feature loaded like most vehicles from South Korea. Globally the new Rexton gets six airbags, ESP (Electronic Stability Program), ARP (Active Roll over Protection), UWS (Ultrasonic Warning System), cruise control, Bluetooth connectivity and Rain-sensing wipers. The Rexton W will be launched across India in a phased manner.After the Mumbai launch it will immediately be made available in the metro cities of New Delhi and Bangalore. We expect Ssangyong Rexton prices to start around Rs 18 lakh (ex-showroom Maharashtra).

MAHINDRA THAR 4X4

Introduction:
     The Mahindra Thar shares the companies rich DNA of building jeeps. The company first started in the 1940s building CKD Jeeps for the World War. These cars were assembled to take on any kind of terrain. The Thar shares a very similar platform to those rugged Jeeps that spawned from the original. It now comes with a decently powerful engine with a strong retro design.

It is the enthusiast vehicle for the adventure crazy Indian driver. There are is a 4WD and a 2WD drive variant and because it caters to a niche market at such a low price, the Thar faces no real competition

Design & Styling:
    The Mahindra Thar is a pure retro design of an old retro Jeep. It is short, just under 4 metres,, has a nice ground clearance of 200mm and is also quite high at almost 2 metres. It has got the traditional looks with its front hood and front grille, perfectly round headlights, huge muscular wheel arches that extend along the front section and also over the rear tyres. It is a great looking car that looks capable to take on any kind of terrain. The wheels are also nice and big and look like they can dig deep into the ground. There is no hardtop version of the car and so the rear and top front section are covered by a canopy that does seem to be a problem for city drivers.

2014 Harley Davidson Street 750.

Harley Davidson  took the covers of the Street 750 and the Street 500 at the EICMA motorcycle show which was held in Milan last year. Now they have plans of launching the Street 750 in the Indian market in the year 2014, which will perhaps be their cheapest offering to the Indian customers. So for those who always wanted a Harley can now fulfill their wish of owning one.
The Street 750 is a completely new motorcycle built on the “Revolution X” platform. This is a completely new platform which has been developed and launched by the legendary American 2 wheeler manufacturer especially for the emerging markets almost thirteen years after the VRSC (V-Twin Racing Street Custom) lineup in 2001. The Street 750 was already reveled infront of the whole World and it attracted attention of the mostly the youth brigade which was perhaps their goal.
The Street 750 is powered by a completely new liquid-cooled 60-degree V-twin powerplant which Harley is calling Revolution X. This completely new powerplant definitely generates impressive amount of power but Harley Davidson cruisers are not only about power each and every motorcycle carries a rich history with it and now anyone will be able to be a part of this epic journey which started back in the early 1900’s.

Way back in July, Suzuki had published 2 pictures of i–V4 Concept, but this time it has brought the SUV into a full limelight at the Frankfurt Show. Suzuki’s IV4 Concept SUV is built on a much-smaller and toughened version of the already existing SX4 Platform in S-Cross, muscled with futuristic bodyline features and rugged exterior to take on established rivals on road.  As of now, IV4 Concept SUV will definitely hold a position between JIMNY and Grand Vitara.
